S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.) is an American independent intelligence agency and special law enforcement service responsible for ensuring national and worldwide security. Formerly an agency of the U.S. federal government, S.H.I.E.L.D. was labeled as a terrorist organization by the government. S.H.I.E.L.D. is headquartered at the Triskelion in Washington, D.C., with former facilities in Alaska and New York.
