Ten Rings
The Ten Rings is a militant organization led by Xu Xialing.
The organization was founded by Xu Wenwu as far back as the Middle Ages. Xu, who wielded the Ten Rings, began a conquest across Asia. The Ten Rings' efforts had shifted towards inciting global instability by the 1940s. Xu's leadership of the organization receded after he discovered the entrance to the dimension Ta Lo and married Ying Li, with whom he had two children, Shang-Chi and Xialing. In 2008, the Ten Rings' cell in Afghanistan captured the businessman Tony Stark, who created a suit of armor and severely impaired the organization's influence in the region.
In 2024, the Dweller-in-Darkness deceived Xu, informing him that Ying was falsely imprisoned behind the Dark Gate in Ta Lo. Xu began a search for Ying, locating Shang-Chi and Xialing, who did not believe that Ying was in Ta Lo. He was defeated in the Battle of Ta Lo. Xialing assumed control of the Ten Rings following the battle, implementing significant reforms, including the introduction of female units.
