Wade Winston Wilson, also known as Deadpool, is a former mercenary and car salesman.
In 2024, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) captured Wilson. Mr. Paradox, a TVA agent, attempted to save Wilson from the destruction of his universe. Wilson and a variant of Logan successfully prevented Paradox from using the Time Ripper.

Mr. Paradox's offer[edit | edit source]
In 2018, Wilson used Cable's time machine to go to Earth-616, where he applied to be an Avenger. Happy Hogan rejected his offer, leading Wilson to become a car salesman within his universe. Six years later, while at a birthday party for his former fiancée, Vanessa Carlysle, he was captured by the Time Variance Authority (TVA). Mr. Paradox, a TVA agent, offered Wilson a position within Earth-616. Paradox informed Wilson that the death of Logan threatened the stability of Wilson's timeline and that he would erase his timeline using a Time Ripper. Wilson stole Paradox's TemPad and returned to Logan's burial, where Paradox sent several agents to recapture him. Wilson defeated them and found several variants of Logan, sending a variant to Paradox, who told him that Wilson's Logan variant was not heroic and could not suffice as a replacement for his timeline's Logan. Paradox sent Logan and Wilson to the Void.
Defeating Paradox and Cassandra Nova[edit | edit source]
Logan and Wilson fought in the Void, when Wilson offered Logan an opportunity to reclaim his image. Rebels, led by Cassandra Nova, captured Logan, Wilson, and Johnny Storm, taking them to Nova. Wilson told Nova that Storm had gravely insulted her. Nova then removed Storm's skin and muscle from his body, sent Logan through the ground, and accessed Wilson's memory of Carlysle telling him he is insignificant. Logan attempted to kill Nova before Alioth began consuming Nova's camp. Logan and Wilson escaped and met Nicepool and his dog, Dogpool. Nicepool gave Logan and Wilson a car to traverse the Void's borderlands. After giving Logan gave Wilson his grievances, Wilson fought him. Wilson and Logan met with Elektra Natchios, Eric Brooks, Remy LeBeau, and Laura, who unsuccessfully attempted to kill Nova as the Others. John Allerdyce told Paradox that Logan and Wilson were alive as they and the Others fought Nova's forces in her camp. Nova mentally pacified Logan, allowing Wilson to place Juggernaut's helmet on her head. Allerdyce mortally wounded Nova and Logan persuaded Wilson to remove the helmet. Nova used a sling ring obtained from a variant of Stephen Strange to open a portal to Wilson's timeline.
Wilson, Logan, and Nova became aware of Paradox's Time Ripper, as Nova attempted to use it by manipulating Paradox. Dogpool, Nicepool, and the Deadpool Corps entered Nova's portal. The Deadpool Corps fought Logan and Wilson, killing Nicepool, but the conflict was resolved after Peter Wisdom appeared in a Deadpool suit. Paradox told Logan and Wilson that the Time Ripper could be disrupted by short-circuiting the device, an act that would require a sacrifice. Logan intended to sacrifice himself, but Wilson intervened. Logan and Wilson used their bodies to absorb the energy of the Time Ripper, surviving as it was destroyed, killing Nova and leading to Paradox's arrest. Wade reconciled with Carlysle afterwards.
